Thank you to the many volunteers who turned out on Saturday, March 28, 2026 to clean, repair and replace nest boxes at the Resource Recovery Center (RRC)! We had a fantastic turnout and would like to thank all the volunteers for their time, nest box and predator guard donations! Thank you to the Grand Rapids Audubon Club for their assistance planning this event. Volunteer time is documented and helps the RRC maintain certification through the Wildlife Habitat Council.

The RRC writes a periodic newsletter that contains information about our department. This document is distributed to retirees, local communities, local elected officials, environmental groups, and other interested parties.
