Safety Culture

Safety Culture

The Muskegon County Resource Recovery Center has a dedicated team of employees who meet monthly to discuss safety initiatives, share ideas, and address concerns.

All employees are encouraged to take an active role in maintaining a safe work environment by reporting concerns and participating in continuous improvement efforts.

MCRRC leadership supports and reinforces a culture where safety is everyone’s responsibility, from frontline staff to management.

MCRRC Health & Safety Mission Statement:

To provide a safe and healthy workplace by identifying and addressing potential hazards, establishing and maintaining effective safety protocols, and fostering a culture of safety awareness. We prioritize clear and open communication, provide ongoing training, and support the overall wellbeing of all employees. Through our collective commitment, we strive to minimize risks, prevent accidents, and embed safety into every aspect of our operations.
