Updates

The Muskegon County Wastewater Management System Office doors are closed to public access in our continued efforts to help stop the spread of the COVID-19/coronavirus and to protect the overall health of our citizens, families, and employees. All essential services remain in operation during this time and we are receiving piped and hauled waste as well as accepting business deliveries. The external areas of the site are accessible to visitors, but the Administration Building and all other Wastewater Buildings will be closed to public access.
We will be issuing visitors, bird watching, and waterfowl hunting passes. However, rather than entering the office we request that you call us at 231-724-3440 or apply for a pass online at our website: mcresourcerecoverycenter.com. We will try to issue passes the same day- during working hours, but ask that you try to give us 24 hours to complete your request. Weekend requests will be processed on the next business day. We will place your pass in the mailbox on the side of the building for you to pick up or mail it to your home upon request.
We request that all visitors and birdwatchers observe all recommended mask-wearing and/or social distancing, hand-washing and/or sanitizing practices when visiting our facility. Our restrooms will also be unavailable to the public.
If you have a scheduled appointment with our staff or are planning to visit our offices for business-related activities as listed above, please ring the bell located at the Administration Building front or rear door or call (231) 724-3440 or (231) 215-8297.
